What they’re saying about Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky

After beating the Detroit Lions in Week 1 and surviving in Week 2 against the New York Giants, the Chicago Bears won their Week 3 game against the Atlanta Falcons. They did so with starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky sitting on the bench.
The Bears elected to take Trubisky out of the game in the third quarter after the fourth-year quarterback was selected by Falcons cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson. Trubisky finished the day with 13 of 22 passes for 128 yards and 1 touchdown.
Chicago sent Nick Foles who rallied the Bears to a 30-26 victory over the Falcons. Foles completed 16 of 29 passes for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns. Foles was also intercepted.
After the game, Bears head coach Matt Nagy gave no idea which quarterback would start for the team in Week 4.
Until then, here’s what they say about the Bears’ decision to put Trubisky on the bench.
