She officially left Sunrise in March to focus on her personal life after marrying businessman Richard Lavender.
And Samantha Armytage certainly seems to be enjoying her new life away from the spotlight.
On Saturday, the 44-year-old shared a photo of herself lying on the sofa and watching TV with her beloved dog Banjo.

She looked unrecognizable from her days on the Channel Seven morning show, with her hair now a natural shade of white instead of the yellow blonde braids she sported.
Sam kept things comfy and casual in a pair of black leggings, a gray wool sweater, and a pair of Ugg boots.
A TV tray containing a glass of water, a remote control and a magazine was in front of her.

The former Sunrise co-host seems to be letting her hair grow naturally now that she’s no longer on TV.
In a public appearance at the races in April, she had noticeably more natural roots while the rest of her hair was still dyed blonde.
Now that more than three months have passed since her last TV appearance, Sam’s blonde dye job seems to have mostly grown and gone.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph in late April, the 44-year-old frankly admitted, “I barely brush my hair and put on a little lipstick these days, and it’s lovely.
“It is absolutely a joy not to have to worry about hair and makeup for this part of my career.”
Since leaving the show after eight years on the air as a co-host, Sam now runs her own podcast called Something To Talk About for Stellar magazine.
“The beauty of this podcast is that it doesn’t matter if you’re on the right or the left in politics, male or female, I want to hear your story,” she added.
