Miranda Lambert ‘Actin’ Up’ in Fringed Top and Metal Toe Western Boots for Vegas Residency Promotion

Miranda Lambert continues the “yeehaw” program with her new residency. The “If I Was a Cowboy” singer shared a video on Instagram yesterday, where she announced she had a new Las Vegas residency titled “Velvet Rodeo,” with tickets available for purchase on April 7 and her new song “Actin’ Up” debuts the same day.

In the caption of the video, Lambert wrote, “This morning I announced that I was launching a residency in Las Vegas this fall called Velvet Rodeo. It is named after a line in “Actin’ Up”, a new song from “Palomino”. Tickets for the residency will go on sale April 7 AND “Actin’ Up” will also be released that day to celebrate ✨🤠”

For the rodeo-inspired outfit, Lambert donned a matching ensemble consisting of a black cropped vest accented with fringe, silver round studs and denim. On the lower half, the coordinating pants received the same design treatment and included dramatic flared legs.

Lambert chose to keep her accessories simple, wearing a pair of chandelier earrings that read “Lady Luck” and a few silver rings. Of course, to align with the theme of her show, she completed the look with a gray cowboy hat which added a nice color contrast.

To complete it all, Lambert puts on a pair of black western boots which had a silver tip on the front. The shoes also featured a smooth black leather upper for a durable feel.

The “Settling Down” singer has also ventured into the fashion industry. She starred in a campaign for Cotton for its “The Fabric of Our Lives” line of advertisements. Lambert also has her own clothing brand, Idyllwind, which offers boots, clothing and accessories “designed for the everyday girl.”
