Joni Mitchell, 78, recovers from her health issues during a walk with a male companion
Joni Mitchell was spotted looking radiant and healthy as she posed for photos while out for a walk with a male friend in Los Angeles.
The 78-year-old music legend has battled life-threatening illnesses in recent years and was unable to walk or speak at one point after suffering a brain aneurysm in 2015.
But on a walk last week, Joni appeared to have recovered from her ailments.
Dressed in a blue bohemian blouse, light blue jeans, brown Ugg boots and a straw hat with a feather, Joni walked with a cane and was helped by her male companion as she tended to the flowers.
Her outfit was typical of her bohemian style that has made her a folk and hippie icon since the 1960s.

Joni also had a long-standing battle with a condition called Morgellons disease, which reportedly left her unable to wear clothes because she felt like she was being “eaten alive”.
Due to her health issues, Joni rarely left her home for long periods of time.
But she made a surprise comeback during the pandemic and made a standout appearance at the MusiCares 2022 gala in April.
Joni was honored as Person of the Year at the gala at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas.
She won 12 Grammys in a stellar career that saw her shine in rock, pop and jazz while releasing 23 albums.
While currently single, Joni has been divorced twice and also dated a string of famous names during her heyday, including fellow musicians Leonard Cohen, David Crosby, Graham Nash, James Taylor and Jackson Browne.

The singer made headlines earlier this year when she joined Neil Young in removing her music from Spotify in protest at their promotion of Joe Rogan’s vaccine-skeptical views.
She said she stood “in solidarity” with Young who asked Spotify to remove her songs unless the platform agreed to stop airing The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
The Big Yellow Taxi singer said the streaming giant was allowing “irresponsible people” to spread lies that were “costing people their lives”.
Mitchell also shared an open letter signed by a coalition of medical professionals calling on Spotify to take action against “mass disinformation events” occurring on its platform.
“I have decided to remove all my music from Spotify,” Mitchell said in a statement on his official website.
“Irresponsible people are spreading lies that are costing people’s lives.
“I stand in solidarity with Neil Young and the global scientific and medical communities on this issue.”

The open letter referred to a specific episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, released on December 31, 2021, in which “baseless conspiracy theories” were promoted.
“By allowing the spread of false and socially harmful claims, Spotify is enabling its hosted media to undermine public trust in scientific research and cast doubt on the credibility of data-based advice offered by medical professionals,” the letter read.
“It’s not just a scientific or medical concern; it’s a sociological problem of devastating proportions and Spotify is responsible for enabling this activity to thrive on its platform.
“We, the undersigned doctors, nurses, scientists and educators, therefore call on Spotify to immediately establish a clear and public policy to moderate misinformation on its platform.”
