Anne Hathaway brought her sharp style to her latest magazine cover: Varietyfrom the “Actors on Actors” number, alongside “Succession” star Jeremy Strong. The issue ties into the magazine’s video series of the same name, where the actors discuss the complexities of their respective jobs and their own careers. Along with Hathaway and Strong, photographed by Alexi Lubomirski, the 2022 portfolio includes Jennifer Aniston, Viola Davis, Zendaya, Jung Ho-yeon and more.

For the occasion, the “WeCrashed” star wore a long-sleeved dark purple Givenchy dress with a paneled bodice and ruffled hem. Covering the Fall 2022 issue, vertical piping detail, mixed with sheer paneling for a sleek, modern look. Hathaway’s ensemble was complete with sheer black tights and diamond earrings.

Strong also brought his laid-back quirky style to the shoot, wearing a black coach jacket and pants with a khaki button-up shirt and chunky tan suede and rubber sneakers.

As for the shoes, Hathaway donned a pair of calf-high boots with black leather uppers. The ‘Princess Diaries’ star’s sparkly style also included a pointed-toe silhouette with thin stiletto heels. The ensemble featured a full reptilian for added elegance, with stiletto heels that totaled at least 4 inches in height. The set added a contemporary flair to its ensemble while still being modern and sleek.

At Strong and Hathaway support interviewthe duo discussed topics ranging from why they love acting and preparing for roles to Strong’s method acting like Kendall Roy and Hathaway’s crying scene in ‘WeCrashed’ – where she showed off her real-life crying actions without ruining her makeup.

“After doing this a number of times, I remember thinking to myself, ‘It would be great to see him on camera,'” Hathaway recalls. “She has to cry without crying over her makeup, which I think many women understand. I just had a feeling it would look really strong on camera to see the tears saturate the fabric but not fall.

Hathaway is known for her strong shoe statements, which she’s shown on and off the red carpet for years. The Oscar-winning actress regularly wears brightly colored pumps and sandals from brands like Jimmy Choo, Tom Ford, Charlotte Olympia and more. Its off-duty rotation generally skews towards clean casual shoes: Valentino and Chanel flats, Nike sneakers and a variety of black leather point-toe loafers are regularly rotated.
